The Resilience Reset

What This Episode Is About

When you step toward your God-given purpose, obstacles will come. This episode explores biblical resilience: the kind that transforms you from the inside out.

Key Scripture

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." — James 1:2-4

The RESET Framework

A simple five-step process for rising stronger every time life knocks you down:

  • R - Recognize the Reality: Name what you're facing honestly before God
  • E - Expect God's Presence: Anchor yourself in Hebrews 13:5—He never leaves you
  • S - Seek the Lesson: Ask what this is teaching you and how it's growing you
  • E - Exercise Your Faith: Take one step forward, even when you don't feel like it
  • T - Trust the Timeline: Release your grip on when things should happen

Your 7-Minute Practice

Journal through these four questions about a current challenge:

  1. What is the hardest part of this situation right now?
  2. What strength am I discovering in myself through this?
  3. How might God be using this to prepare me for what's next?
  4. What's one small action I can take today?

Remember

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9

You're not just bouncing back—you're being rebuilt stronger, wiser, and more prepared for your purpose.

Kim Gordon

Through my experience as a nurse, educator, sales director, business mentor and certified leadership coach, I've developed a deep desire to love people enough to help them reach their God-given potential. My superpower is in helping you identify how to get "unstuck" by clarifying what's NEXT and what's POSSIBLE, and by being your friend as you take action to get there. I love being a Jesus lover, wife, momma, spirtual momma, and dog mom. Fueled by coffee, grits, and chocolate.
